This camp is also for rising 7th and 8th graders interested in participating in the regular middle school program in the Fall 2026 Middle School rowing program. Rowers will get practice in sweep rowing. Focus will be on good training habits, improving technique and fitness, and applying skills to competition. Campers are welcome for one or both weeks. LCRA offers a discount for registrations of two Sessions (must be purchased at the same time.) This weekly camp is on Monday-Friday each week. The camp will culminate in a trip to Daytona Beach, FL to compete at the Annual Halifax Summer Regatta on July 26th. (See regatta info, regatta expenses are not included.)
